Nottingham City Council had previously had issues regarding their automatic bollards, Macs Automated Bollards were asked to replace the existing bollard with our Pilomat product. We installed a dual automatic bollard system to improve the safety, efficiency and the ability to control vehicles in this major city centre artery into Market Square. The bollard installation was extremely high profile, situated close to the Town Hall and alongside the famous Brian Clough statue which draws visitors from around the world. An automated rise and fall bollard system was the only safe and controlled option to be considered and Macs Automated Bollard Systems are proud to be associated with this and other planned automated bollard schemes for Nottingham City Council.
