Macs wins contract for Nottingham City Council
Macs has been awarded a contract by Nottingham City Council to supply and install automated rising bollard systems on 2 sites within Nottingham’s famous Lace Market area.
Once the heart of the world's lace industry during the days of the British Empire, the Lace Market has undergone a renaissance in recent years. Nearly all of the old warehouses that were once run down during the recession years have been cleaned and renovated and have found new uses such as luxury apartments, high-spec offices, academic buildings, bars and night clubs. The installation of Macs automated bollard systems will control traffic into this area which will only further enhance the experience for all visitors and residents to this area of Nottingham.
Two further automatic bollard systems are to be installed into the Trinity Square area of the city, this new pedestrian shopping and restaurant destination in Nottingham will again benefit both local businesses and visitors.
We look forward to once again working with Nottingham City Council on both these prestigious contracts with work starting late Spring 2010.
