To install an automatic bollard system to full Highways Agency Type Approval, it must be remembered that it is not just the bollard that has to measure up!
Remote Fault Monitoring:
MACS have developed a dedicated Remote Fault Monitoring System ‘Macs Messenger 5™’, totally designed and built for our automatic bollard systems, we are now able to dial in to all of our systems using PSTN, GSM, GPRS,ADSL or Fibre Optics and remotely control, re-programme and respond to fault alarms from any location around the world, 24hrs a day.
Software Design:
All of the Software design and System programming is carried out on our premises by qualified MACS Engineers.
CAD Design:
MACS are fully able to support all of our clients design needs by producing full CAD design and construction drawings in house.
Panel Building:
All of our Highways Agency Approved Systems will have had their control and operating panels built by us in our workshops and thoroughly tested through a computer programme on a continuous 48 hour test schedule before it leaves for site.
Control System:
Our Control System has been tested and approved by two independent UKAS Laboratories.
Bollard Status Indicator Light Signals:
Red over green 100mmØ clusters are manufactured in house.
VMS Warning Signs:
We are now able to manufacture our own ‘Variable Message Signs’ to alert drivers to an automatic bollard system operation.
CCTV Coverage:
Real time or recorded connections on any site.
